Journal #03 / Order Story: お二人だけのこだわりを詰め込んだ、特別なマリッジリング

Journal #03 / こんにちは、Lamie（ラミエ）です。

新しいブライダルサイトがスタートし、3回目となる今回のJournalでは、以前中目黒店で大切にお仕立てさせていただいた、あるご夫婦の特別なオーダーエピソードをご紹介します。

出会い、そしてLamieへ

お二人とLamieの出会いは、伊勢丹新宿店で開催したポップアップイベントでした。そこで私たちのブランドを知ってくださり、後日、改めて中目黒のショップへ足を運んでくださったのです。

お二人が特に興味を持ってくださっていたのが、2つの異なる素材を組み合わせる「ハーフ加工」のリングでした。

通常、ハーフ加工では「K18イエローゴールド×プラチナ」の組み合わせを選ばれることが多いのですが、お二人が選ばれたのは「K18シャンパンゴールド×プラチナ」。

イエローゴールドよりも少し落ち着いたトーンのシャンパンゴールドを合わせることで、プラチナとのコントラストがパキッとしすぎず、肌馴染みの良い滑らかなグラデーションが美しい、お二人ならではの特別なベースリングが決定しました。

散りばめられた、たくさんのこだわり

お二人のリングには、ベースの素材選びだけでなく、細かな部分までたくさんの愛おしいこだわりが詰め込まれています。

まずは、ダイヤモンドのセッティング。 石の数や配置など、お二人とたくさん対話を重ねながら、細部までこだわり抜いたレイアウトに仕上げました。

男性のリングにダイヤモンドをセッティングすることはそれほど多くないのですが、お二人でお揃いのデザインに。手元を見るたびにお互いの存在を感じられるような、たくさんの愛が詰まったお仕立てになりました。

さらに、リングの内側にはお二人だけのオリジナルの刻印を。 大切な記念日の両脇に、お二人からアイデアをいただいた特別なモチーフを施しました。指輪を外した瞬間にだけ見える、お二人だけの秘密のディテールです。

完成を迎えて

今までにない新しいアイデアやオーダーがぎゅっと詰め込まれたリングの制作は、私たちにとっても本当に刺激的で、職人と共に心を込めてお仕立てさせていただきました。

完成したリングを確認したとき、お二人の笑顔がすぐに目に浮かび、胸が熱くなったのを覚えています。

実際の仕上がりを手にして、本当に嬉しそうに喜んでくださったお二人の姿は、今でも私たちの宝物です。

Journal #03 / A Special Custom Order Story

Hello, this is Lamie.

Since the launch of our new bridal website, this is our third Journal entry. Today, we would like to share a very special custom order story from a wonderful couple whose wedding bands we had the privilege of crafting at our Nakameguro shop.

The Journey to Lamie

Our story with the couple began at a pop-up event we hosted at Isetan Shinjuku. After discovering our brand there, they later made a special visit to our Nakameguro shop to explore further.

The couple was particularly drawn to our "Half-and-Half" rings, which seamlessly combine two different metals.

While this style typically features a pairing of K18 Yellow Gold and Platinum, this couple visioned something uniquely theirs: K18 Champagne Gold combined with Platinum.

By choosing Champagne Gold, which offers a softer, more muted tone than yellow gold, the contrast with the platinum became beautifully subtle. It created a gentle, smooth gradation that naturally complements the skin, establishing a perfect custom base for their rings.

Woven with Endless Details

Beyond the choice of metals, the couple poured so much love and consideration into every fine detail of their rings.

First was the diamond setting. Through many inspiring conversations together, we carefully discussed the number of stones and their precise arrangement to bring their ideal layout to life.

While it is less common to set diamonds in a men’s wedding band, they chose to feature matching designs. Every time they glance at their hands, they are reminded of one another—making it a beautiful reflection of their shared bond.

Furthermore, the inside of the bands features a custom engraving created just for them. Flanking their precious anniversary date is a meaningful custom motif inspired by the couple’s own ideas. It is a beautiful, hidden detail that reveals itself only when the rings are taken off.

A Heartfelt Completion

Crafting these rings—filled with fresh ideas and unique customization—was an incredibly inspiring journey for us, and our artisans poured their hearts into every single step.

The moment the finished rings were ready, the couple's bright smiles immediately came to mind, filling our hearts with warmth.

Seeing how genuinely thrilled they were upon holding the final pieces is a memory we will always treasure. Out of all the brands in the world, we are deeply honored that they chose Lamie for such a significant milestone in their lives, and that they shared their beautiful creativity with us.
